ABC News featured The Choir Room, led by three-time GRAMMY and twice Dove Award-winning songwriter and producer Dwan Hill, releases “Better Than This (Featuring Dorinda Clark-Cole).” Available now from Centricity Music at digital and streaming outlets everywhere, the single follows The Choir Room’s chart-topping hit “Love Never Fails (Featuring Fred Hammond)” to radio.

Written by Hill, Clark-Cole and Javier Ordenes and produced by Hill, Ordenes and Marcus Perry, “Better Than This” was recorded during The Choir Room gathering held May 18, 2026 in Nashville.

“When we first met, Dorinda told me about a song idea she started over 20 years ago. ‘Better Than This’ was born from that idea, and it’s exactly what the world needs to sing right now,” says Hill. “I’ve looked up to Dorinda since I was a kid, always admiring her musical creativity and iconic voice. Now, after spending time with her, I respect and love her even more. I hope people find hope in God as they listen to Dorinda and The Choir Room sing about the good news: things are going to get better!”

The Choir Room’s next gathering will take place Nov. 16 in Nashville (Madison, TN) at Harken Hall. Its New York City “CHOIR ROOM EXPERIENCE” will follow Feb. 19-22, 2027 and includes a performance Feb. 21 at the world famous Carnegie Hall led by Hill, Hammond and Brooke Ligertwood. Registrations are coming in fast as singers from across America sign up to join the “Onstage Choir” and this three-day event from True North Presents via https://www.truenorthpresents.com/choirroom27.
