Now former U.S. ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley left her post this week, but not without taking one more shot at the body's anti-Israel bias.

As Townhall reports, Haley was proud to announce Tuesday that the U.S. was formally withdrawing from UNESCO, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization.

Israel, a chief target of UNESCO’s biased treatment will be joining the U.S. in its exit. In her final speech to the U.N., Haley called UNESCO’s politicization a “chronic embarrassment.”

She added, “Just as we said in 1984 when President Reagan withdrew from UNESCO, U.S. taxpayers should no longer be on the hook to pay for policies that are hostile to our values and make a mockery of justice and common sense.”
