Bruce Hooley

Bruce Hooley joined 98.9fm The Answer in October 2020, following a three-decade career in newspaper, radio and television. At the Cleveland Plain Dealer, Hooley covered Ohio State University for 18 years, while also serving as the PD's national college football and basketball reporter. That followed a two-year career with the Miami (Fla.) News and three years at the Troy Daily News in Western Ohio. Bruce won numerous state and national writing and reporting awards before transitioning to radio in 2005. He has since hosted top-rated talk shows in Columbus and Cleveland, while also hosting his own state-wide commentary show on the Spectrum News Network for four years. Bruce worships with his family at Northwest Chapel in Dublin and is a member of his high school's athletic hall of fame. He and his wife, Sheri, live with their three daughters 20 minutes outside Columbus.
