Mindy and Boots

Mindy Drayer has spent her entire career talking!  It all started in 1991 when she graduated from Ohio State with a communication degree.  From there, she worked as a television anchor/reporter in Delaware, Lima, Youngstown, and Columbus, Ohio.  After nearly 35 years in the broadcasting business, Mindy is still doing what she loves by co-hosting Real & Raw with Mindy and Boots and anchoring the afternoon news on Spectrum News1.  She's also the author of three books (Guylo, The King, and Dear Mom).

Mindy moved to Westerville when she was just four years old and has called it home ever since. 

Mindy is married to Randy Kortokrax, a longtime educator and high school basketball coach (326 wins).  Together, they have two children and four dogs. Their daughter Kami recently graduated from The Ohio State University and was a four year starter for the Softball Buckeyes. She never missed one game and received Big Ten and Regional honors all four years!  Their son Kylan played baseball for Otterbein University and has already entered the working world! 

Throughout her career, Mindy has thoroughly enjoyed meeting and interviewing people of all ages and all walks of life.  She has always believed that everyone has a story, and Mindy is just happy that she still has radio and TV opportunities to share those stories on the air.

Dan "Boots" Longenette has been hosting radio shows for nearly 20 years.  His broadcasting career began because of his knowledge and expertise in the automobile industry.  After a career in sales, Boots, along with various partners, started a radio show talking about what he loves most, cars.  It was an instant success bringing in thousands of listeners on a weekly basis. 

Boots grew up in the small town of Martins Ferry in Belmont County, with a population of 6,000. That's where he learned the importance of hard work and conservative values.  Today, Boots lives in Sunbury, Ohio where he enjoys that "small town" atmosphere once again.

Boots is extremely proud of his daughter, son in law, granddaughter and dog Marilyn.

For years, Boots has supported police, deputies, troops and Honor Flight, in which he's helped raise thousand of dollars.  He loves America and those who fight for common sense values.

He enjoys talking on the air and giving people a platform to share their own personal experiences.
