They should reach the space station this weekend, replacing colleagues who launched in March as fill-ins for NASA's two stuck astronauts. Leading the taxi flight for NASA is Zena Cardman. She was yanked from a SpaceX flight last year to make room for Starliner's test pilots whose capsule was judged too dangerous to fly. Two of her crewmates were also training on Starliner, which remains grounded until next year.

Teacher Charged in Fatal Stabbing of Couple on a Hike With Their Kids is Ordered Held Without Bond

A teacher who authorities say admitted to fatally stabbing a couple he didn’t know who were hiking with two of their children in an Arkansas state park has faced a judge for the first time. Andrew James McGann has been charged with two counts of capital murder in the killing Saturday of 43-year-old Clinton David Brink and 41-year-old Cristen Amanda Brink. He is being held without bond and briefly appeared before a judge Friday morning at the Washington County Detention Center. He has been assigned a public defender and scheduled for an arraignment on Aug. 25. The Associated Press has left messages at numbers listed for McGann.
